Job Description
· Creating database models and architecture
· Creating and testing proofs of concept
· Managing and monitoring databases
· Strong working knowledge of performance tuning and indexes
· Implementing and maintaining backup plans
· Write complex analytical logic using SQL
· Drive the implementation of analytic tools for audits
· Ensure data deployments occur through all environments
· Work with app and data teams to identify that all deployment steps are documented and valid
· Participate in Pre-Deployment meetings as necessary
· Develop operational database guidelines
· Develop database standards and documentation (SOP)
· Provide guidance for platforms and tools
Job Requirements
· More than four years SQL server/Oracle database experience or database administration experience.
· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
· Experience with database migration, performance tuning and optimization, and setting up and managing database connections
· Familiar with SQL Reporting services including creating, modifying, and managing custom reports
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field
